Chez Marisol

I was the unofficial party photographer (sly way for my friend Molly, the photographer, to get me in on the gig), for this photoshoot chez Marisol (the one fixing the wig). Informative and fun, though 9 hours in a small, hair-spray + cigarette smoke full space certianly merited a champagne finish.

A manner of speaking...

American in Paris

Despite 4 years in Paris, both Molly and I are still as gaga over the Parisian landscape as any new arrival. Here's Molly posing in the hallway of the Pompidou's gerbil cage style bubble passageway.

Ski trip 2007

This year's ski trip was exceptional, in that there was nearly no snow at the station! Thanks to global warming, we were able to spend the week bronzing on the slopes while putting back a few at Joe's bar.

"Turlish, turlish; cutlet, cutlet"... theme song inspired by a german video clip of bare breasted ladies licking meat fresh off the b-b-q. Frank, determined to re-enact those MTV moments, is nursing an unruly fire while we prepare the bratwurst.

Le Gland de Daumesnil

Hadrien and I have just moved into our new apartment in the 12th arr. in Paris. We were amused to discover the nature of our local landmark.

What the he-elll?

Though the title references David Lynch's short film "The Cowboy and the Frenchman", (which inspired me to fill my pockets full of escargots for a short time), this drawing has nothing to do with Lynch or his films. In fact, isn't that the nutty thing about noggins? They're just full of random and pointless connections!
More of those to come...
